About Us

We are Cabbys and we have been operating within the Chippenham area since 2021, but we started as independent drivers over 10 years before that, since our formation we have taken on more drivers and have been gaining momentum through our easy to use app. Our aim is to make booking a taxi as easy as possible, either using our app, by web, calling us or simply booking your next one on your current ride.

How to book with Cabbys

DOWNLOAD

It doesn't matter if you have an iPhone or an Android phone, our app is available for both, download by simply searching for 'Cabbys' within its own stores.

Launch the app, either use the location button to see where you are, or type in your pick up location, then your destination, make sure you enter the correct date & time of the booking, and the required vehicle, you can choose to pay by cash, card or with loyalty points.

Register

Once downloaded you can simply click to open the app then enter your mobile number, wait for the OTP, enter this then give us your name, email (for receipts) & away you go.

allocating a driver

Once booked the system will look for the convenient driver, one that maybe dropping off in the area, please allow a few minutes for this to happen, calling will not speed anything up, if you cannot see vehicles on the app, then we may all be busy for sometime.

what do i share

Our app only uses the information you enter plus your location when you book a journey, after this we cannot see your location, so make sure your where you say you are!

helpful tips

Did you know you can register a card? Then use it to pay for your next journey, if you feel like giving a tip then you can let the driver know at the end of the journey.
You can share your journey so friends & family can know how long your going to be.

Online Help

We have added a whole section on how to book a taxi, please use this if you have trouble setting up the app, we only have dedicated support on during the daytimes. All our drivers know how to use the app and are familiar on things where customers may struggle.

Booking System

Cannot use the app? Not a problem, just like booking a flight (except we won't charge you to choose your seats) you can book on our online booking form, please note that any out of town journeys may need to be paid for using card, we will call you if this is the case, but this is for driver safety.

Calling Cabbys

If all else fails then you can just call us up, but remember our number is for the Chippenham area only, Bristol bookings cannot be made over the phone.

*T&C’s – Fixed pricing is based on your journey being the same as when booking, and a maximum of 3 minutes waiting time total. Responsive Alerts & Responsive Tracking is the same as SMS alerts however the speed at which you get them is much faster, loyalty points may only be collected when using the app, and only be used from within the app. Coupons must be entered on the coupon page at the time of booking, some require payment by card only, all our of town journeys booked within the app are card only, we do not take payment until your journey is complete however our systems let most banks and they preauth the amount.
